The summit of Chugimago stuck its head above the intervening ridge on the trail from Kabug to the Trakarding Glacier. Chugimago (Chukyima Go, 6297m) was climbed for the first time in October 1952 by Tom MacKinnon, George Roger, Douglas Scott, Tom Weir, Ang Dawa Sherpa, Dawa Tenzing Sherpa, and Mingma Sherpa.
